    Imad is a comparatively less-expensive but nutritionally high marine fish which is common in the Middle East. It is best taken grilled, along with spices, especially red chilly.

    Marine; brackish; reef-associated; depth range 5 - 30 m,Indo-Pacific: Red Sea and East Africa and Persian Gulf to the Tuamoto Islands, north to southern Japan, south to northern Australia and New Caledonia. Recorded off the coast of Florida in the Western Central Atlantic.
